Award Level Criteria
There are three levels to the Award—Bronze, Silver and Gold—and each level has four specific sections that participants need to complete activities in (plus a fifth at Gold level).
At-a-glance guide to completing the Award
An average of one hour per week on each activity section is required. However you can log up to a maximum of 4 hours every 28 days if your activity only happens fortnightly or monthly. Development and regular progress must be shown and all activities must be completed by the participant’s 25th birthday.

Starting age
14 years
*Flexibility - A young person, aged 13, who is part of a peer group where the majority are 14 or older can register for the Bronze Award with their peers.

Minimum of 6 months
Section Major
Complete an additional 3 months in one section.

Minimum 1 day and 1 night
Qualifying Journey
Minimum 2 days and 1 night
