Family members (including extended family) cannot act as the Assessor for any section of the Award.
You can start your Bronze Award at 14 years, however a young person, aged 13, who is part of a peer group where the majority are 14 or older can register for the Bronze Award with their peers.
Once you have completed a level and it has been signed off by National Office you are able to start on the next level without having to wait until the minimum age (Silver 15years, Gold 16 years).
If you are a direct entrant to Silver (i.e. you haven't done Bronze) or Gold, you must wait until you are 15 to start your Silver Award or 16 for Gold.
The Online Record Book will calculate how long the gap is, and automatically adjust your completion date for that section as soon as you start the activity again.
