BANQER

Banqer helps prepare the next generation for their financial future. We believe that everyone should have access to a quality, engaging, effective financial education that sets them up for financial success – whatever that means to them.

Together, Banqer and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Hillary Award are helping rangatahi, like you, to develop your financial literacy.

Through our partnership, you can engage with Banqer to learn what you need to know to prepare yourself for the real money world. At the same time, you will meet the requirements of the Skills section for your Award level

Please note: If you are joining The Duke of Ed Banqer classroom in 2024 it is only available for Bronze and Silver Levels. The course is only 13 weeks so if your skill section at Bronze level is your major section or you are participating in the Silver Level then you will need to select an additional skills activity once you have finished your 13 weeks with Banqer.

Banqer is an Activity Provider that gives you the opportunity to build life skills around financial literacy, such as budgeting, saving, investing, insurance, buying property and managing a career within the Skills section of the Award. This unique opportunity is also an activity you can participate in with your whanau. Through an interactive platform, you can grow your financial capability, learn more about how you can set up your future and learn lifelong lessons about taking on and managing risks.

Building financial literacy and resilience is a powerful skill set to support your financial future.

Gain comprehensive skills that will be an asset and could develop into a passion with Banqer, while deepening your understanding of equity and responsibility. Take your financial knowledge and create a positive future for yourself and a positive impact in the world.
